Counseling services are available to all members of the UIU community, especially students.
You can talk about anything that’s hampering your well-being, such as:

4. Trauma and crisis support
5. Relationship or family issues
6. Loneliness or homesickness
7. Any other personal challenges
Yes. All counseling sessions are confidential. Information is not shared without your written consent, except in cases of:
1. Risk of harm to self or others
2. Suspected abuse or neglect
3. Court orders or other legal issues
You can attend multiple sessions based on your needs. The counselor will discuss a suitable plan with you during the initial meeting. Typically it takes 6-10 sessions to deal with any kind of psychological challenges.
That’s okay! You can attend a session to explore your current emotional state and take part in a brief mental health assessment.
Yes, the client needs to pay Fifty taka for each session.
