This is for the information of all UIU students that with a view to further rationalise the existing Tuition and Trimester/Semester Fee payment system, the UIU authorities have decided to implement the payment schedule, as follows:

Trimester based Programs:

1. As part of the Tuition and Trimester Fee, students will pay Tk. 15,000 at the time of Registration;

2. The rest of the Tuition and Trimester Fee amount will be payable in three installments at 40%, 30% and 30% rates respectively.

Example: If a student’s Tuition and Trimester Fee for the current Trimester stands at Tk. 65,000, s/he will pay the amount as follows:

At the time of registration: Tk. 15,000

[Remaining balance: Tk. 50,000]

1^st Installment: 40% of Tk. 50,000, i.e., Tk. 20,000

2^nd Installment: 30% of Tk. 50,000, i.e., Tk. 15,000

3^rd Installment: 30% of Tk. 50,000, i.e., Tk. 15,000

Semester based Programs:

1. As part of the Tuition and Semester Fee, students will pay Tk. 15,000 at the time of Registration;

2. The rest of the Tuition and Semester Fee amount will be payable in four equal installments at 25% rate.

Example: If a student’s Tuition and Semester Fee for the current Semester stands at Tk. 65,000, s/he will pay the amount as follows:

At the time of registration: Tk. 15,000

[Remaining balance: Tk. 50,000]

1^st Installment: 25% of Tk. 50,000, i.e. Tk. 12,500

2^nd Installment: 25% of Tk. 50,000, i.e. Tk. 12,500

3^rd Installment: 25% of Tk. 50,000, i.e. Tk. 12,500

4^th Installment: 25% of Tk. 50,000, i.e. Tk. 12,500

A student may also choose to pay the whole amount of Tk. 65,000 at the time of registration.

The new policy will be implemented from the Summer 2024 Trimester/Fall 2024 Semester.
