UIU Hosts Iftar and Doa Mahfil to Mark Ramadan Sanguinity

On the occasion of the sacred month of Ramadan, United International University (UIU) hosted an Iftar and Doa Mahfil on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 within its premises. The event was graced by Hasan Mahmood Raja, Chairman of the University's Board of Trustees; K.M.A. Shamim, Advisor of United Group; Moinuddin Hasan Rashid, Chairman & Managing Director of United Group; Dr. M. Rezwan Khan, Professor Emeritus and Executive Director, IAR of UIU and Prof. Dr. Chowdhury Mofizur Rahman, Vice Chancellor (Designate) of State University of Bangladesh and former Vice Chancellor of UIU.

Prof. Dr. Md. Abul Kashem Mia, the Vice Chancellor of United International University, presided over the program with the presence of Treasurer, Registrar, Coordinator, all Deans, Heads of Departments, faculty members, administrative officers, and staff members. Prof. Dr. A.K.M. Muzahidul Islam, Director of the Directorate of Career Counseling and Student Affairs at UIU, conducted the proceedings.

The culmination of the event featured an enlightening discourse by Salimur Rahman, an Islamic scholar and Khatib of Masjid Al Mustafa. Depicting the significance of Ramadan, Khatib Rahman led a special munajat, seeking divine blessings for the nation's peace, progress and prosperity.
