Attention: Students of the Department of Pharmacy

It is for information of students of the Department of Pharmacy, admitted in Spring 2024 Semester, intending to apply for 100% Tuition Fee and Other Fees Waiver under Freedom Fighters’ Children Quota, that they would be required to submit applications, addressed to the Registrar, United International University, along with relevant documents (list is given below) to the Office of the Controller of Examinations by March 09, 2024 (Saturday).  

Please note that following criteria will be followed in the sanctioning of 100% tuition fee and other fees waiver under Freedom Fighters’ Children Quota:

1. 3% (three percent) of the newly admitted students of Spring 2024 semester will be sanctioned 100% waiver of tuition fee and other fees in this category.
2. The waiver is being offered for both undergraduate and graduate students.
3. A student, who receives this waiver, will be waived from all tuition fee and other fees except admission fee, ID caution fee and retake course(s) fees.
4. Upon selection, he/she will continue to receive the waiver till they obtain their degree, subject to the condition that s/he would be required to maintain a minimum GPA of 2.50 in a particular semester for becoming eligible to get 100% Tuition Fee and Other Fees Waiver in the following semester (as per UGC directive).
5. Applicants, who are eligible for both the categories of 100% Tuition Fee and Other Fees Waiver Under Freedom Fighters’ Children Quota and 100% Scholarship in order of Merit, will be awarded the waiver from the category of 100% Tuition Fee and Other Fees Waiver Under Freedom Fighters’ Children Quota.
6. For continuation of this waiver, undergraduate students of B.Pharm have to take 14 credits in each semester.

Documents to be attached with the application seeking 100% Tuition Fee and Other Fees Waiver under Freedom Fighters’ Children Quota are as follows:

1. Photocopy of the Freedom Fighter’s Certificate issued from the Ministry of Liberation Affairs
2. Photocopy of the Gazette Notification regarding List of Freedom Fighters (Front Page & the page in which the name of the Freedom Fighter is mentioned)
3. Photocopy of the National ID Card of the Freedom Fighter/Death Certificate in case of a deceased Freedom Fighter
4. Photocopy of the Birth Registration Certificate of the applicant (student) and his/her National ID Card (If available)
5. Photocopy of HSC Transcript of the applicant (student)
6. Photocopy of SSC Transcript of the applicant (student)
7. Printed Copies of the Respective Pages of Freedom Fighter’s Records on the Website of Ministry of Liberation War Affairs http://ff.molwa.gov.bd/ps
