Message from the Pro-Vice Chancellor
In an increasingly competitive world, future leaders need newer skills and capabilities to survive and thrive in a changing global environment. As a consequence of challenges posed by globalization, educational institutions need to develop human resources that are resilient enough to mix, match and excel in a dynamic scenario that evolves in the local and global landscape. It turns out that the challenges are not merely economic or technological, but of creating a pool of leaders having a global mind-set, capable of making ethical and competitive decisions. The unprecedented pace of innovation has forced us to learn and unlearn in a cycle of knowledge generation, sharing and management in such a way that can only be handled by trained and educated human resources. Education is the key to our future, as it has always been. The United International University (UIU) is geared up to achieve this end by ensuring quality education through experienced faculty and utilizing enviable teaching-learning-research environment. We believe that learning environment is as important as the infrastructure as well as delivery by top-notch teachers and professionals.
To move ahead on the path of quest for excellence, we have already equipped ourselves with required resources to cope with the forthcoming challenges. We look forward to establishing UIU as a knowledge hub in Bangladesh and the South Asia region. We expect all stakeholders to contribute and reap the fruits of this endeavor for the greater benefit of the society and the nation at large.
