Collection of Admission Form
Admission Form is available at UIU Admission Office in working days between 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. on payment of Tk. 1000/= (Non-Refundable). Admission Form is also available in online. You can purchase, submit and print Admit Card from online (admission.uiu.ac.bd)
Submission of Admission Form
You would not require submission of any documents of previous exams before admission. You can print Admit Card from Online or from Admission Office. Only candidates of MSECO, MDS, MSCSE & EMBA programs shall have to bring all academic certificates, transcripts & job experience certificate(s) at the time of Viva Voce.
Admission fee and required documents

- Admission fee Tk. 20,000.00 (Non-Refundable)
- Caution Money for ID Card Tk. 2000.00 (Refundable) payable at the time of taking admission.
- Required Documents during admission time:
i) Certificates, Marks sheet, Testimonials of all previous examinations.
ii) 1 copy of recent Passport-sized photograph (which you uploaded online.
iii) For Diploma graduates, all semester-wise Marks sheet.
iv) For EMBA program, certificate of 2 years’ Job Experience.v) Students own NID / Birth Certificate/ Passport Copy & National ID Card of Father / Mother.
vi) The signature of Father / Mother / Guardian is mandatory on the Admission Form. If anyone puts his / her signature as a guardian, the photocopy of National ID Card of the signatory has to be submitted in the Admission Office.
vii) Presence of Mother/Father/Guardian is a must at the time of admission of an undergraduate student.

Admission Procedure (On Campus or Online)
AT UIU CAMPUS:
Selected candidates can take admission at UIU Admissions Office after paying requisite Admission Fee (Tk. 20,000) and Caution Money for ID Card (Tk. 2,000 – refundable) in cash at UIU Finance & Accounts Office on Saturday to Wednesday in a week during 09.00 AM to 3.00 PM (Except Govt. Holidays).
Required Documents: Candidates, who will take admission by visiting UIU Campus, must submit the attested photocopies of all Certificates, Testimonials & Transcripts/Mark Sheets, National ID Card/Birth Registration Certificate/Copy of Passport of the candidate, National ID Card of Father/Mother, One copy of passport-sized photograph (which is uploaded online) to the UIU Admissions Office at the time of taking admission.
VIA ONLINE:
- Candidates, who will take admission via online, are required to send the following information and scanned copies of attested photocopies of their academic and other documents to the email address – admissions@uiu.ac.bd
- Information to be mentioned in the email: Name of the selected candidate, Admission Test ID, Payment ID (Admission form), mobile number; and the name of the desired program for admission.
- Documents to be attached in the email: Certificates, Mark sheets/Transcript and Testimonials for all Examinations, student’s National ID card/Birth registration Certificate/Passport copy, National ID card of the student’s father/mother. Students who have completed a 4-year diploma must submit all semester-wise mark sheets. Additionally, applicants to the EMBA program must provide a certificate verifying a minimum of two years of work experience.
- After the initial verification of the documents, the UIU Admission Office will notify you to pay the admission fee.
- After receiving notification from the Admissions Office, the candidate must log in to https://admission.uiu.ac.bd using the username and password provided during the submission of the Admission Form. Once logged in, the “Pay Admission Fee” button will be visible on the homepage. The candidate should then pay the total Admission Fee of Tk. 22,000 (Tk. 20,000 as admission fee, and Tk. 2,000 as caution money for ID card – refundable) using any of the following payment methods: Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, Amex, DBBL Nexus), Mobile Banking services (Bkash, Rocket, UPay, SureCash, t-Cash, etc.), or Internet Banking (AB Bank, City Bank, iPay, etc.). Please note that a service charge will apply for online payments.
- Please note that discrepancy in any document of a student may lead to cancellation of admission of the concerned student at any time.
- Candidates, who will take admission via online, would also require to submit the attested photocopies of above-mentioned documents as well as One passport-size photograph (to be uploaded online) before classes begin.
Payment Policy
-
- Payment of tuition fees for the entire trimester/semester must be made in a single installment at the time of starting of a new trimester/semester as mentioned in the Academic Calendar/relevant Notice(s) issued from the Registrar’s Office.
- Students would be required to pay an amount of Tk. 20,000/- as a partial payment of tuition fees before registration of courses each trimester/semester. Trimester-based students will have to pay the rest of their tuition & trimester fee in three installments at 40%, 30% and 30% rates respectively. While the Semester-based students will pay it in four equal installments at 25% rate.
- Calculation of Trimester Tuition Fee = No. of credits taken X Fee per credit + Taka 6500.00 (Trimester fee.)
- Calculation of Semester Tuition Fee = No. of credits taken X Fee per credit + Taka 9750.00 (Semester fee.)
- Laboratory Fee: B. Pharm (Tk. 3,000 per semester) and for BSBGE (Tk. 2,000/- per trimester)
- BSBGE and B. Pharm students are required to add a Laboratory Fee of Tk 2,000/- and Tk 3,000/- respectively to the total fee for each trimester and semester.
Course Waiver
Applications of course waiver/credit transfer must be submitted to respective departments during registration for courses for 1st trimester. For obtaining course waiver /credit transfer minimum grade must be B. Individual departments may have some additional requirements.
After Admission:
- Students would be required to pay an amount of Tk 20,000/- as a partial payment of tuition fees before registration of courses.
- Classes for all undergraduate programs in the Fall 2025 trimester will commence on Tuesday, November 11, 2025. Classes for graduate programs will begin on Friday, November 14, 2025.
The Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm) program for the Fall 2025 semester will commence on August 19 (Tuesday), 2025. - Course Advising /Registration / Date of Orientation Program will be published on the UIU Website.
- The schedule for payment of tuition fee will be announced through ‘Notices’ to be posted on the UIU Notice Boards/Website.

- As per Private University Act 2010, 3% of the total admitted students will get the opportunity to avail 100% tuition fee waiver under Freedom Fighter’s Children Quota. The students interested to avail this opportunity would be required to submit the application to the Registrar’s Office within 2 (two) weeks of the beginning of classes.
