With reference to the notices dated October 22 and November 18, 2025 regarding mandatory carrying and displaying of UIU student ID card on the campus, UIU expresses its deep appreciation to all its rule-abiding students, who have been so diligently following the ID card rules and, thereby, contributing to make their campus a safe and secure place for all.

While the overwhelming majority of our students are following the UIU ID card rules with sincerity, there are still some students who needs to be more attentive to the same.

As declared in the notice of November 18, 2025, UIU is going to implement the provision that no student will be allowed to enter into the UIU campus without a valid student ID card from December 01, 2025. If a student still comes to the university without his/her student ID card, s/he will be issued with a Student Day Pass to enter into the campus and s/he will be charged Tk. 200/= (Taka Two Hundred only) on each such occasion. The amount will be reflected in the concerned student’s UCAM account.

Furthermore, in order to ensure security and safety of our students in the UIU transports as well, all users of student transportation and shuttle bus services are strongly advised to wear/display their UIU student ID card in the bus. Students, who will not be wearing/ displaying UIU student ID card, will henceforth be denied entry into the buses of student transportation and shuttle bus services.
