A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between United International University (UIU) and PrimeSilicon Technology (PST) on 05 November 2025 (Wednesday) at 10:00 AM at UIU Campus, United City, Madani Avenue, Dhaka-1212.

Professor Emeritus Dr. M. Rezwan Khan, Executive Director of IAR & Former VC of UIU presided over the signing ceremony. Prof. Dr. Kaled Masukur Rahman, the Head of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering of UIU and Mr. Tareq Khan, Chief Operating Officer of PST signed the MoU on behalf of their respective institutions. The scopes of the MoU are:

• A technology training program at the university that will be offered by the company to university students, faculty members, and laboratory instructors.
• Review of current VLSI course curriculum by company experts and suggest modifications that will be more pertinent to the industry requirements.
• Offer short Internship / Industry-Grade Training program at the company facilities / UIU premises to groom EEE final-year students with industry-level technical expertise.
• Promote the company among the university faculty members, students, and student bodies.
• Collaborative research program will be initiated in order to develop new technology.
