The United International University (UIU) will commemorate the July 2024 Uprising as a tribute to the martyrs of the July 2024 Uprising, and to honor the memories of our Shaheed Md. Irfan Bhuiyan, a bright and compassionate student of the Department of CSE. This will also be an occasion to recognize the valiant efforts of our UIU students, who were first among the private university students to fight against fascism with enviable courage.

As part of the commemoration, UIU will hold an insightful seminar titled “Significance of the July Uprising for Bangladesh and the Way Forward” in the afternoon of July 22, 2025 (2:30 PM) at the UIU Multipurpose Auditorium.

A Du’a Mahfil will follow the discussion session seeking eternal peace for Shaheed Md. Irfan Bhuiyan and all the martyrs of the July 2024 uprising, who made the supreme sacrifice for our nation.
