About the Role: A dynamic research team of the Civil Engineering Department is conducting a research project on flood-resistant housing using sustainable materials. We are seeking a self-motivated team member to provide excellent leadership in the research on the innovative design of flood-resistant homes. The team member will ensure efficient execution of the project. The responsibilities are outlined below.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct a literature review in the relevant field and prepare reports.
• Coordinate the design and administration of laboratory setup works
• Gather, clean, and process data, and prepare the database, where necessary.
• Prepare audit reports quarterly.
• Assist SPM with administrative operations
• Any other duties assigned by SPM and ASPM 

Qualification:

1. B.Sc. in Civil Engineering, MSc in Civil Engineering is preferred. Those who have completed coursework are also eligible to apply.  
2. B.Sc. GPA 3.4 or above
3. Excellent communication skills in English.
4. Proficient in report writing in English.
5. Experience with structural design and administration (desirable).
6. Experience in laboratory test setup preparation and conducting experimentation (desirable).  
7. Knowledge of UTM/ actuator machine operations and ASTM, ISO Loading Protocol (desirable).
8. Software Skills: ETABS, ABAQUS, ANSYS, SAP 2000, Revit, Python, MATLAB, Autodesk Robot, and AutoCAD will be given preference.
9. Understanding of Machine learning in the Civil Engineering field (desirable).
10. Applicant with any related publications and experience will be given preference
