About the Role:

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and experienced Data Entry/Computer Operator to support the financial management and administrative operations of research projects. The Operator will be responsible for accurate data entry, transparent fund utilization, and strict compliance with institutional guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter and update project-related data (administrative information) into databases and computer systems.
• Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities, and check outputs for quality assurance.
• Maintain and organize Hardware devices, digital files and records, ensuring both devices and data are stored securely and easily accessible to the research team.
• Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations, and perform backup operations to prevent data loss.
• Assist the project team with data compilation, cleaning, and preparation for analysis.
• Provide general administrative support to the project team as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Diploma in Computer Science/Applications or a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 1+ years of proven experience as a Data Entry Operator, Computer Operator, or in a similar role. Experience in a research, healthcare, or technology project environment is highly desirable.
• Excellent typing speed and accuracy with a keen eye for detail.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (especially MS Excel and MS Word) and data programs.
• Familiarity with audio transcription and data management techniques is a strong plus.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• High level of integrity and a strong understanding of the importance of data confidentiality.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
