About the Role:
We are seeking a talented and driven AI Engineer to combat antimicrobial resistance using cutting-edge AI. You will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of our machine learning and NLP techniques, from designing and implementing data pipelines to fine-tuning AI models and deploying them into production systems. This role is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of advanced AI research and real-world healthcare impact, contributing to a system that will improve patient outcomes across Bangladesh.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable data pipelines using Python and SQL to ingest, clean, and transform multi-modal health data.
• Conduct rigorous Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) to uncover patterns, identify data quality issues, and perform feature engineering for model training.
• Design AI infrastructure that’s production-ready, not just experimental.
• Train, fine-tune, and optimize LLMs, multimodal, and generative AI models.
• Develop, train, and validate a diverse range of machine learning models, including classification, DL, and NLP models.
• Deploy and optimize LLMs and vector databases.
• Collaborate on the development of hybrid AI systems, integrating decision engines with statistical models to ensure accuracy and clinical interpretability.
• Integrate AI components into larger production systems, ensuring scalability and performance.
• Develop and maintain cloud-based analytical dashboards to communicate model performance and project impact to stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• 1.5–2 years of experience in AI/ML development for healthcare applications (skilled freshers are encouraged to apply).
• Experience in healthcare data and clinical guidelines for AI-based system designing.
• Strong proficiency in Python for data processing and model development.
• Experience in applying and rigorously tuning a range of supervised and unsupervised models, with preference for ensemble methods.
• Hands-on experience with modern NLP techniques for clinical text analysis, including Named Entity Recognition (NER).
• Experience in building, training, and debugging neural network architectures such as Multi-Layer Perceptrons (MLPs).
• Exposure to MLOps practices, model deployment, and monitoring in production environments.
• Proficiency with frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Hugging Face.
• Strong problem-solving skills, curiosity, and eagerness to learn advanced AI techniques.
• Passion for applying technology to solve meaningful, real-world problems.
