MAVEN, nickname of Mars Rover team of United International University (UIU), ranks 1st among Asian countries and 13th among 36 global finalists competing with 98 universities and securing a score of 90.92 out of 100.
To make this triumph memorable, UIU has decided to recognize and congratulate the members, mentor, team leader and advisor of MAVEN for their hard work, dedication and sacrifice to reach the top. It is important to note that the UIU Mars Rover team consists of student members from the UIU Robotics Club. Mr. Akib Zaman, Lecturer, Dept. of CSE was the Mentor and Team Director while Mr. Rokib Hasan, a student from UIU’s CSE department was the Team Leader. Prof. Dr. Hasan Sarwar, Former Head, Department of CSE was the Team Advisor.
Securing 1st position among Asian countries is an extraordinary achievement. Now we have planned to arrange a grand reception to motivate our triumphant team. We believe that the presence of faculty members and staff will make the program a grandeur one.
