UIU Social Services Club (UIUSSC), a voluntary and humanitarian club of UIU, arranges โ€˜Eid Clothes Distribution and Iftar with Orphans and Underprivileged Childrenโ€™ on 15th April 2023 at UIU campus. Regarding this humanitarian work, UIU Social Services Club led a donation campaign among the students, faculty members and admin officers of UIU. This donation helped them to organize Iftar Mahfil and purchase clothes for the children to make their Eid celebration special.

Club president Anamika Debnath said, there are many orphan and underprivileged children in our country, who cannot celebrate Eid with their families and are constantly being deprived of the joy of Eid. This is our small effort to spread the happiness of Eid among them. Dr. Kaled Masukur Rahman, Professor, Dept. of EEE, Dr. Abdullah Al Mamun, Institute of Natural Sciences (INS), UIU admin officers, ex-president and advisors of UIU Social Services Club were present in the event.

Starting from its journey in 2011, UIU Social Services Club organizes many humanitarian works such as donation among flood affected people, free blood grouping and blood donation campaign, winter clothes distribution among the cold stricken people, cleaning campaign etc.
