Date: 4th January, 2023

Venue : Smart Room-126

UIU Electrical & Electronics Club (UIUEEC), one of the leading clubs of Directorate of Student Affairs (DSA) of United International University (UIU), is going to organize a seminar on “Electronic Device Physics Based Modelling and Simulation Driving Moore’s Law into the Future” for its members and all the engineering students of UIU.

Electronic Devices in Physics-based models are developed by simplifying coupled nonlinear partial differential equations that describe the physics of the semiconductor devices and try to capture the essence of underlying physics. On the other hand, Moore’s law is the observation that the number of transistors in a dense integrated circuit (IC) doubles about every two years. The promise of Moore’s Law is to bring about improved lives through the betterment of healthcare, communication, transport, automation, etc. is being kept alive through the relentless efforts of engineers and scientists in the industry and in academia.
