We are excited to invite you to the upcoming workshop, NextGen Diplomats' Talk, organized by the United International University Model United Nations Club. This workshop will be an excellent opportunity to dive into the fundamentals of Model United Nations (MUN) and provide a platform for learning, networking, and skill development in the world of diplomacy.

Participants will learn the following topics:
- Introduction to MUN – Understand the structure, purpose, and significance of Model United Nations conferences. You will learn how MUN simulations mimic real-life UN discussions and how we can represent a country in these forums.
- Rules of Procedure – Get a detailed overview of the formal rules that govern MUN sessions, including how debates are conducted, the use of motions, and the voting process.
- Public Speaking and Diplomacy Skills – Develop the ability to deliver speeches, negotiate with delegates, and draft resolutions while representing our assigned country’s position on global issues.
- How to Organize a MUN Conference – Gain practical insights into the logistical and operational aspects of organizing a MUN event, from committee forming to conference management.
- The Importance of External MUNs – Learn why participating in MUNs outside of our university is crucial for personal growth, skill-building, and networking. This will guide us on how to get involved in external MUN events.
This workshop is tailored to help both newcomers and experienced participants excel in future MUN conferences. It will not only teach the theoretical aspects of MUN but also provide with hands-on experience to thrive in global debates.
