"Join us for an Enlightening Seminar on "Biomechanics of Mental Health"
Have you ever wondered about the intricate relationship between the mind and body? How does the body impact the mind, and how does the mind affect the body? This fascinating question has intrigued philosophers and scientists for centuries.
We are honored to announce that the Civil Engineering Department of UIU is bringing you the opportunity to explore this very subject with one of the greatest minds in Mechanical Science and Engineering – Professor Dr. Md. Taher Abu Saif!
Dr. Md. Taher Abu Saif is the Edward William and Jane Marr Gutgsell Professor at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and has recently been awarded as a Fellow of the National Academy of Engineering in 2024- the highest professional honors in engineering—often referred to as the "Nobel Prize of Engineering." His groundbreaking research spans the mechanics of neurons, cardiac cells, tumor microenvironments, and the development of biological machines.
Don’t miss out on this incredible opportunity to hear from a true pioneer in the field!
