English Language Institute
English Language Institute of United International University started functioning from day one of the university’s establishment in 2006. Its primary objective is to analyze the language need of the students, design and update necessary courses from time to time. The institute offers two courses- Intensive English I and Intensive English II. Both the courses are compulsory for the students of School of Business and Economics and School of Science and Engineering. There are 48 classes in total in both of these courses.
Institute of Natural Sciences
This institute was founded in 2006 as an offshoot of UIU. INS consists of three disciplines of physical sciences: Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry. These physical sciences deal with the truths of nature and the laws that govern the world. In INS, there are 12 high-profile active faculties of whom one is a PhD holder.
School of Humanities and Social Sciences
UIU has set up the School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SoHSS) in Fall 2019. The SoHSS welcomes the prospective students from Bangladesh and beyond as the United International University has a unique pedagogical platform in addressing the 21st century’s social issues and concerns in Bangladesh in integration and coordination with theoretical understanding in South Asia and beyond.
School of Science & Engineering
The School of Science and Engineering is composed of three departments, namely Department of Civil Engineering, Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) and Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE).
School of Business & Economics
The School of Business and Economics has 65 full-time faculty members, as well as a number of part-time faculty members. The school offers three undergraduate programs, three masters programs and one post graduate diploma program:
