“Innobotics – 2020” The first national robotics competition was held on February 14 & 15, 2020 at UIU under UIU Robotics Club powered by the United Group.

Honorable Additional Secretary Salima Sultana, Posts and Telecommunications Division, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, was present as the Chief Guest in the inauguration ceremony and Mr. Syed Mujibul Haque, Honorable Additional Secretary and Project Director, iDEA, ICT Division, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, has graced the prize-giving ceremony as being the Chief Guest.

In 7 different segments, more than 390 participants from 46 public and private schools, colleges and universities from all around the country have participated in this competition to showcase their tech skills and engineering knowledge with robotics.

BDT. 2,80,000 was the total prize money of all the segments. The segments featured Robo Race, Soccerbot, Fighter Robot, Line Following, Rotor Flying, Project Shows Case and Poster Presentation.

Participants were from well-known Schools, Colleges and Universities. Champion, Runner Up and other prize recipients are from BAF Shaheen College, Notre Dame College, DUET, RU, SUST, MIST, IUB, UIU, AIUB, USTC, BRACU, BUET, Oxford Int. School and others.
