Students interested in taking
admission in Master of Science Program at Dept. of CSE,UIU should procure admission materials from the Admission
Office and return the filled in Application Forms along with other
documents to the Admission Office. Original and photocopies of all
certificates, mark sheets, testimonials, 2 copies of passport size
& 1 copy of stamp size photograph are required to be submitted with
the admission forms. Original papers will be returned after
verification & attestation of the photocopies by the Admission
Counselor.
Individuals who hold a
Bachelor’s degree in any academic discipline from a recognised
university having CGPA not less than 2.5 will be considered for
admission into the Master of Science in Computer Science and
engineering program. Students who have weak undergraduate grades or
have not come from CS/CSI/EEE/Applied Physics background will be
required to take a number of prerequisite courses as decided by the
Department of Computer Science and Engineering. The applicant’s
undergraduate grade point average (GPA), GRE score and work experience
will be encouraged and may be required. Upon acceptance, students will
receive a copy of their planned academic program. Students are
encouraged to meet periodically with the program director to discuss
academic progress, career placement and special needs.
Admission Requirements *
Every applicant, without any
exception, must fulfill the admission requirements as laid down by
United International University (UIU). Admission test and/or interview
for admission into a trimester will be held as decided by UIU.
The minimum qualification for admission into an Master's program is:
A relevant undergraduate degree from a recognized university with agrdae point average of 2.5 or more on a scale of 4.0.
A relevant Bachelor Degree, with at least a second class or a
relevant two years bachelor degree with at least second divisions in
all previous exams.
Some students may be required to complete some additional preparatory courses at UIU before they start their Master’s program.
