Students interested in taking
admission in Bachelor of Science Program at Dept. of CSE,UIU should procure admission materials from the Admission
Office and return the filled in Application Forms along with other
documents to the Admission Office. Original and photocopies of all
certificates, mark sheets, testimonials, 2 copies of passport size
& 1 copy of stamp size photograph are required to be submitted with
the admission forms. Original papers will be returned after
verification & attestation of the photocopies by the Admission
Counselor. After primary scrutiny, applicants will be called to sit for
an admission test and interview. Admission tests are administered for
Spring, Summer and Fall Trimester. Test dates are published in
newspapers and in the university website at http://www.uiu.ac.bd
Admission TestApplicants
will be required to sit for an admission test designed to judge their
abilities and aptitude for the program. The test will be held as
arranged by UIU. The admission test will be held on the following three
areas:
Language and Communication
Mathematics and Physics
Analytical ability
To qualify in a written test an applicant is required to obtain a minimum mark in all the three sections separately.
Admission Requirements*
Every applicant, without any
exception, must fulfill the admission requirements as laid down by
United International University (UIU). Admission test and/or interview
for admission into a trimester will be held as decided by UIU.
A higher
secondary certificate or its equivalent in science with mathematics and
physics or other fields of study is the basic educational requirement.
The minimum qualification for admission into an undergraduate program is:
A minimum GPA of 2.5 in SSC/O-Level and
HSC/A-Level. O-level students must have completed minimum 5 subjects
and A-level students minimum 2 subjects.
Acceptable score in UIU admission test.
