position; Reviewing the evolution of the value chain concept; Defining the
nature of competitive advantage and threats to its sustainability;
Investigating the advantages and disadvantages of competitive verses
co-operative strategies in international market entry; Reviewing the nature of
trust and effectiveness in international strategic alliances; Examining the
concept of synergy and its link to integration in international businesses;
Reviewing the nature of knowledge and its management across a range of
international business organization structures.
