This
course is designed to orient the students with the changing locations and
spatial patterns of economic activity. Topics include world climate;
classification of regions and economic development; locations of energy,
mineral, and water resources; production in agriculture, manufacturing, and
services; and spatial economic principles of trade, transportation,
communications, and corporate organization.
