This course deals
with developing an efficient and effective communication skill in different
business situations. The course focuses on theory and process of communication;
barriers to effective communication; communication skills: reading, writing,
listening, and speaking skills; written communication: letters, memos and
formal reports; oral communication; use of visual aids in communication; use of
non-verbal communication; effective business meeting; and internal
communication. It also covers the following topics: report writing, formal
letter writing, summary writing, generating an essay and preparing an
assignment or a term paper with bibliography, footnotes and appendix.
